Tip: L-A-Y means P-L-A-C-E. If there is an object, use Lay. If no object, use Lie. (P.S. Lie-Lay-Lain is for resting).

नियम 2: Rise (उठना) बनाम Raise (उठाना)

'Rise' का अर्थ है खुद ऊपर उठना या उगना (Rise-Rose-Risen)। 'Raise' का अर्थ है किसी चीज़ को ऊपर उठाना या बढ़ाना (Raise-Raised-Raised)।

उदाहरण

आम गलती

💡 Rise सूरज की तरह खुद होता है; Raise हाथ की तरह किसी के द्वारा किया जाता है। Tip: Rise is like the Sun (self); Raise is like your hand (done by you).

नियम 3: Hang (फाँसी) बनाम Hang (टाँगना)

जब किसी व्यक्ति को फाँसी दी जाती है, तो V2 और V3 'Hanged' होता है। जब कोई वस्तु (कपड़े, फोटो) टाँगी जाती है, तो V2 और V3 'Hung' होता है।

उदाहरण

आम गलती

💡 इंसान के लिए Hanged (फाँसी), सामान के लिए Hung (टाँगना)। Tip: Hanged = Death; Hung = Decoration/Storage.

नियम 4: Fall (गिरना) बनाम Fell (गिराना/काटना)

'Fall' का अर्थ है खुद गिरना (Fall-Fell-Fallen)। 'Fell' का अर्थ है किसी चीज़ को गिराना, जैसे पेड़ काटना (Fell-Felled-Felled)।

उदाहरण

आम गलती

💡 Fall खुद गिरना है; Fell जानबूझकर गिराना या काटना है। Tip: Fall is accidental; Fell is intentional (like cutting a tree).

नियम 5: Sit (बैठना) बनाम Set (रखना)

'Sit' का अर्थ है बैठना (Sit-Sat-Sat)। 'Set' का अर्थ है किसी चीज़ को एक जगह पर रखना या जमाना (Set-Set-Set)।

उदाहरण

आम गलती

💡 Sit मतलब बैठना; Set मतलब रखना। Tip: You sit yourself, but you set an object.

नियम 6: Helping Verbs के साथ गलत Verb Form

SSC में अक्सर 'Has/Have/Had' के साथ V2 या 'Did' के साथ V2 लगाकर गलती दी जाती है। याद रखें: Has/Have/Had + V3 और Did + V1।

उदाहरण

आम गलती

💡 Has/Have/Had = V3; Do/Does/Did = V1. इसे रट लें! Tip: H-family (Has/Have/Had) takes V3; D-family (Do/Does/Did) takes V1.
