रूट वर्ड्स शब्दों की जड़ होते हैं। अगर आप एक रूट का मतलब समझ लें, तो आप उससे बनने वाले कई कठिन शब्दों का अर्थ परीक्षा में आसानी से पहचान सकते हैं।
-Cide (जड़ शब्द)
इस रूट का मतलब होता है 'हत्या' (Killing) या 'हत्या करने वाला' (Killer)। जब भी किसी शब्द के अंत में -cide आए, समझ जाइए कि वहाँ जान लेने की बात हो रही है।
