Order of Pronouns and Reflexive Pronouns

यानी पहले You, फिर He/She/Name, और अंत में I आता है। सूत्र: You + He/She + I + Verb.

उदाहरण

आम गलती

💡 2-3-1 याद रखें: पहले सामने वाला (You), फिर तीसरा (He/She), फिर मैं (I)।

नियम 2: गलती स्वीकारने पर क्रम (Order 1-2-3)

यदि वाक्य में कोई गलती, अपराध या नकारात्मक बात हो, तो क्रम 1-2-3 (First, Second, Third person) हो जाता है। यानी I पहले आता है। सूत्र: I + You + He/She + Verb.

उदाहरण

आम गलती

💡 नकारात्मक बात = मैं पहले (1-2-3)।

नियम 3: Reflexive Pronoun का प्रयोग

कुछ verbs के बाद Reflexive Pronoun (myself, himself, etc.) लगाना अनिवार्य है। ये हैं: Avail, Absent, Enjoy, Pride, Introduce। सूत्र: Verb + Reflexive Pronoun + of/etc.

5: Each other vs One another

दो लोगों के लिए 'Each other' का प्रयोग करें। दो से अधिक के लिए 'One another' का प्रयोग करें।

उदाहरण

आम गलती

💡 2 = Each other, 3+ = One another.

English version — Order of Pronouns and Reflexive Pronouns

The correct order of pronouns and the proper use of reflexive pronouns are crucial for SSC exams. Students often get the order wrong or add reflexive pronouns to verbs that do not require them.

Rule 1: Order of Pronouns (2-3-1)

When a sentence is general or positive, the order of pronouns is 2-3-1 (Second, Third, First person). That is, You comes first, then He/She/Name, and finally I. Formula: You + He/She + I + Verb.

Examples

Common mistakes

Rule 2: Order for admitting a fault (1-2-3)

If the sentence involves a mistake, crime, or negative situation, the order changes to 1-2-3 (First, Second, Third person). That is, I comes first. Formula: I + You + He/She + Verb.

Examples

Common mistakes

Rule 3: Use of Reflexive Pronouns

Some verbs require a reflexive pronoun (myself, himself, etc.) after them. These are: Avail, Absent, Enjoy, Pride, Introduce. Formula: Verb + Reflexive Pronoun + of/etc.

Examples

Common mistakes

Rule 4: Verbs NOT taking Reflexive Pronouns

Some verbs never take a reflexive pronoun: Keep, Stop, Hide, Qualify, Bathe, Dress, Open, Turn. Using 'myself' or 'himself' after these is incorrect.

Examples

Common mistakes

Rule 5: Each other vs One another

Use 'Each other' for two people. Use 'One another' for more than two people.
